Dear Fitness Members,
With the recent government announcement regarding the new national restrictions, sadly our centre will be closed from Thursday 5nd November until Wednesday 2nd December.
As you will be aware, YMCA Torpoint is more than just a gym. Therefore, our centre will remain open for the local school, as well as continuing our support for young people. Because of this, we are asking our gym/class members to consider supporting us throughout the 4-week lockdown by retaining your fitness membership/package. During the last lockdown, we provided a range of services to local people and your continued support will allow us to make this happen again. You can see details of this here: https://wp.me/a64KZf-17X
In return for your support, we will be cataloguing all our Plymouth fitness team’s online workout videos on our website throughout this period, to help you continue working out at home on-demand (details to follow shortly).
Furthermore, should you choose to continue your membership, we are offering you the ability to claim a free year’s annual YMCA membership (worth £25) when it is due for renewal.
If you wish to claim this, please email email@example.com.
If would like to cancel your membership or have any further questions, please contact us.
As always, we truly appreciate your ongoing support and look forward to seeing you again soon.
Thank you and stay safe
Fitness Suite hourly slots will need pre-booking, 7 day advance booking only. All Pre- booked members will get priority ahead of any drop in’s.
Last entry to the Fitness Suite will be an hour before closing.

|Kettlebells||Wednesday||6pm – 7pm|
|Yoga Fusion||Friday||6pm – 7pm|
Booking is required for all classes – Maximum 15 people per class – first come first served basis.
Please note the following:
Our guidelines require us to only allow 15 people per hourly slot to use the Fitness Suite at any one time – you will now find the Cardio Equipment in the Sports Hall and the Weights Area in the Fitness Suite required 2 metre distance were possible.
All users will need to come to the Centre already changed in gym clothes with limited personal belongings as we will no longer be able to provide lockers or changing rooms. And no personal belongings/bags/coats can be left on the floors.
In getting ready to open up again, we are following guidance from national governing bodies such as UK Active, the UK Government guidance and Public Health England and will continue to do so.
Sadly our Holiday Club will not be running this summer due to restrictions. For other clubs and services, please standby for details or contact the club direct.
Please bear with us a bit longer, we are almost there. We are deeply grateful for all your support and patience during this time. We look forward to welcoming you back on Monday 3rd August. In the meantime, please check our website and social media pages for further updates.
