FAQs

How do I book for my child?
To book a Holiday Club session, please ensure you have created an account on our booking portal specifically for your child. As a parent, you are also able to link child accounts to your own account. This is especially useful if you have multiple children or you use other services at the YMCA yourself.
Our booking system checks the age of the account holder/person booking; therefore, it may show the session as unavailable or unbookable if you have not logged in as your child or selected that you’re ‘booking for’ your child if you have linked their account to your own.

How do I set up my child’s account and link it to your own to then book
1. Create an account in your own name and details as the parent/guardian.
2. Go to the Account Details page and then under ‘Group Members’ select ‘Create group member’ to add your child (or link existing account if your child already has an account)
3. Now, when on the bookings page, above the dates section, please ensure you have selected your child from the ‘booking for ’ drop-down.

Do you accept Childcare Vouchers?

Yes! We accept Childcare Vouchers from Care-4, Computershare, Edenred, Sodexo, and the Childcare Grant Payment Scheme. To use your vouchers, please email stacey.f@ymcaplymouth.org.uk with the exact dates and sessions you need. Stacey will activate your account and complete the booking for you!

What if my child has dietary restrictions or medical conditions?
Please detail any dietary requirements, allergies, or medical conditions on your child’s registration form when booking. Any medication must be supplied in its original packaging with the prescription label attached, along with a completed medication consent form. Also, our staff are fully briefed on all dietary requirements before every sessions.

What are the drop-off and pick-up times?

Standard drop-off is before 9:30 am, with pick-up at 3:30 pm. We also offer extended hours, including early drop-off from 8:00 am and late pick-up options from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

What if someone is picking up my child?
Please notify us in advance and provide them with your designated collection password or list them as an authorised contact on your booking form.

If your child feels unwell or has a more serious injury, we will get in touch with you immediately to let you know and arrange for them to be collected.

What should my child wear?

What does my child need to bring each day?
