YMCA Football Coaching Academy

YMCA Football Coaching Academy offers sessions for both boys and girls to develop their skills and ability while providing a fun environment for young people to simply enjoy the game. We offer complete pathways for young people to progress and compete for our teams in the Devon Junior Minor League. We’re proud of our heritage delivering high standard football coaching in Plymouth for over 100 years.

Out sessions cost £3 per session, or as a £10 per month package.

MONDAY

► Under 7s Football Team

Time: 5pm – 6pm
Venue: YMCA Sports Hall

Fun training for players in school year 1 and 2s with the aim of developing players skills with the aim of joining the Devon Junior Minor League.


► Under 7s

Time: 5pm – 6pm
Venue: YMCA Sports Hall

Fun sessions for players in school year two. As with our Monday Under 6’s session, this session aim to develop players to join the Devon Junior Minor League.

WEDNESDAY

► Under 10s (YMCA All Saints)

Time: 6pm – 7pm
Venue: All Saints Academy School 3G

Training session for YMCA All Saints U10s team who play in the Devon Junior Minor League on Saturday mornings.

THURSDAY

► Under 8s (YMCA All Saints)

Time: 5pm – 6pm
Venue: All Saints Academy School 3G

Training session for YMCA All Saints U8s team with the aim of progressing players onto join the Devon Junior Minor League.


► Under 10s
(YMCA All Saints)

Time: 5pm – 6pm
Venue: All Saints Academy School 3G

Training session for YMCA All Saints U10s team. This team plays in the Devon Junior Minor league on Saturday mornings.

FRIDAY

► Under 10s (Girls Training Sessions)

Time: 5pm – 6pm
Venue: All Saints Academy School 3G

This is a girls only football training session for ages 7 – 10.  The U10s girls currently play on Saturday mornings in the Devon Junior Minor League.

SATURDAY

► Under 7s (Pre-school, year 1s and 2s)

Time: 8.30am – 9.30am
Venue: YMCA Plymouth Sports Hall

A fun and enjoyable coaching session for players looking to learn the basics of football. Our FA qualified coaches follow the FAs DNA philosophy for coaching new players.
