Y-Zone is helping young people learn how to keep active and look after their health and wellbeing through physical activity

Y-Zone is a gym and studio-based activity programme focused on youth health and wellbeing. These Sessions help young people to develop a positive and long-term relationship with activity – giving them skills and knowledge that will stay with them for life while making a real difference to their health & wellbeing today. With a body-positive outlook, sessions are structured according to the young person’s age, size, confidence, and fitness levels, so they feel comfortable and can engage at their own pace.

With the support and guidance of our friendly fitness trainers, young people are encouraged to build a healthy relationship with their own physical health, their bodies, and the gym environment – combating misconceptions, stereotypes, and myths that can negatively impact their mental health.

Session destails

We deliver hour-long sessions each week in our gym, as well as other specialised sessions for school and college groups. Activities are led and guided by our experienced trainers and include circuits on our Queenax Rig (It’s like a big climbing frame!), a range of exercises using dumbells, barbells or fixed machines, as well as cardio machines such as treadmills, bikes and rowers in our state-of-the-art gym. We also offer special sessions in our immersive cycle studio and aerobics studio for school and college groups.

Agesession is open for ages 11-15 years old 

When – Monday & Fridays from 4pm-5pm

Cost– £4.30 per session
