Launch yourself towards the career of your dreams
Launchpad Live is the biggest careers fair of its kind in the south west, full of interactive and exciting stalls from a range of employers and training providers.
The next event will be held on the 6th October & 7th October 2026.
Located at the Plymouth Life Centre, this two-day careers event will bring together employers and training providers from across the city to help showcase the skills and career opportunities available across the region.
This event is free to attend and supported by: Plymouth City Council & Discovery College.
Event Times
The event will take place across two days with registered school & college times and a public session on Thursday.
Tuesday 6th October : 8.55am-2.45pm ( from 3pm-5pm will be open to the public)
Wednesdaay 7th October : 8.55am-2.45pm
Please contact your school or college to find out if you are eligible to come to one of the school sessions. If you are not registered to attend with your school or are an adult, then you are welcome to come at any time 4pm – 6pm on Thursday.

Plymouth Life Centre
The event will be hosted indoors at the Plymouth Life Centre using their huge hall space for our biggest Launchpad Live event yet!
There will be sign-posting and staff available to help you find your way.
Exhibitors
There will be top employers and training providers in attendance from around the region offering practical and interactive activities at their stalls, as well as offering information and guidance about career and training opportunities.
