Receptionist/Front of House Supervisor
This post is 28.5 hours a week with the possibility of additional hours for holiday and
sickness cover. This is a permanent position.
The 28.5 hours will be a varied work pattern to include daytimes, evenings and
weekends. Please note YMCA Plymouth is open 7 days a week. This will be discussed at interview.
The current hourly rate is £13.38 per hour.
This role is as supervisor of the front of house team and also includes reception duties
across the week. Duties will include acting as a focal point for centre users, dealing with enquiries face to
face and by phone and e-mail. This role will also include dealing with bookings. This will
involve handling cash and undertaking other administrative duties as directed.
The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check, and
two satisfactory references will also be required.

We’re looking for young people to join our Supported Internship programme from September 2024.
This is an unpaid internship opportunity for young people ages 16-24 who have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP). This opportunity will give you coaching and training alongside a work placement for 6-12 months at a top Hospitality provider, helping you to then hopefully progress into a paid role.
