Have fun and play at YMCA
Ocean City Soft Play is a brand-new soft play area for ages 0-7 at YMCA Plymouth, themed around our city’s great landmarks and marine heritage. Our safe space is ideal whatever the weather, including with air conditioning on for hot days! Plus, using our QR ordering system you can order food and drink right from your table without having to leave your seat.
Whatever the weather, kids can slide into Tinside Lido, clamber across the Brunel Bridge, spin around Smeaton’s tower, explore the streets of the Barbican, or dive under the waves into our deep sea-themed area. We also offer fantastic birthday party packages.

Order from your table and we’ll deliver it to your table! We’re sure you do enough running around so that’s why we have handy QR codes on each table where you can order a range of food and drink and we’ll deliver it right to your table. So you can keep focus on keeping an eye on the little-ones while you enjoy a much needed sit down.
Session Details (Standard Sessions)
All sessions are valid for 90 minutes. Children must be accompanied by an at all times adult while in our soft play area. We offer special themed craft sessions for Under 5s on Thursday Mornings (see further details below).

SEND Sessions
We offer free sessions for children with Special Educational Needs and Disability in our Soft Play area. These sessions are at a reduced capacity to be more suitable for SEND children and their families. These sessions are for SEND children only.
Fridays – 3.30pm – 5pm
Book SEND SessionStay & Play Themed Sessions
On Thursday mornings we offer structured themed sessions led by our fantastic childcare team. These fun sessions are for Under 5s and include creative activities, games and more.

Join our free soft play sessions that are perfect for dads (and guardians) and their kids who want to bond, have fun, and create lasting memories.
A family specialist from Barnardo’s will be on hand to provide support and answer any questions.
